Harry, If you mean to access WiFI, then all you have to do is buy a WiFi dongle. Install it and then insert the dongle into the USB port. and you are on. But, if you want to run a WIFi hot spot on your PC, then you need to install a wireless router so that other devices having a WiFI capability can connect to it. You need to set up a WireLess LAN for which there exists a wizard in Windows.

A month ago my computer was installed with wireless network using modem 2701HGG but as of now I never had that wireless connection and I dont see the wireless networks icon and the message wireless network...

Your computer may have an ENABLE/DISABLE switch for your wireless adapter. Make sure that the switch is "on", so that the wireless adapter can "find networks".

Take the computer to any "small" (owner-operator) computer-store, and ask for help. They will be glad to show you how to enable & use your wireless device.

Wireless on targa doesnt detect wireless networks

There could be a problem with the driver for the adapter or the hardware itself. The first thing I would try is go into the control panel and then into the device manager. Then look for the wireless adapter and remove it. Then re-boot the computer and windows should detect the adapter and re-install the drivers. If that does not work you could also try and locate the updated drivers from the manufacturers website and install those. Also remeber that it may be a simple as you have turned the adapter off. Netbooks usually have either a switch or FN key and another key combination to turn the adapter on and off. So look on the netbook for a wireless switch or one of the function keys might have a antenna symbol above it. If you find one then try holding the FN key and press the function key....that will trun the wireless back on.

Losing internet connection when enabling ICS on the wireless network connection

Do not enable ICS on any of the computers that are connected to a router regardless if it's wired or wireless, you only need to enable ICS is if you don't have a router/server on your network(the purpose of a router is to share a single internet connection from your ISP). To connect your computer wirelessly to the router(on a Windows XP computer given that you do not have a 3rd party Wi-fi application installed) is to right click on wireless network connection on the System Tray(lower right hand side of the computer's Desktop near where the clock is) or you can do it the hard way by going to Control Panel then Network Connections and choose view available wireless network and under the list of available network that your computer can detect, select the network name(also called SSID) of your wireless router and try to connect(of course if you enabled Wi-fi security you also need to key-in the security key(WEP/WPA) you configured on your router and that's it both wired and wireless computer/devices connected to the router should work at the same time.
