Navigon 7200t GPS Traffic Problem

My 7200t Navigon is not showing any traffic updates, nor any older traffic problems. I have hit several traffic problems on my way to work and it's not showing them. It worked fine before but now it's not.

    I already did all that and it's coming up with all 0 traffic information. I KNOW thus is wrong because work that showed up on Friday is still active and it's no longer displayed.

    I tried and they have no support team. They say to use the Internet for help. But they do not respond over their site either. That is why I came here and paid money for support.

    I figured all the steps I was given on my own before I paid for help. I expect something a little more in depth so I can get this fixed.

Are you sure that traffic alerts where issued for these traffic delays, I suspect none where, see if it happens again before jumping to the conclusion the unit is defective, you may also have been in an area of poor reception for the radio signal that alerts the GPS, so give it time to see if the GPS radio receiver has failed or it is more likely one of the above problems

Have you tried to reset the device. Probably some settings might have changed which can be easily rectified by resetting the device.

You can access the Traffic information by :
1) Tab Options > Traffic
The TRAFFIC INFORMATION WINDOW opens.
On the Navigation map, the (TMC shortcut) button can also be used to display
the TRAFFIC INFORMATION WINDOW. The TMC shortcut button displays when traffic messages have been received and are currently available.
2). Tap the Traffic information button to view a list of available traffic message types.
3). Tap on the type of messages to display.
4). Tap the OK button.

You can follow the instructions in your User guide also.

    Have you tried a Hard reset. There are two ways to reset the device.

    1) Soft reset: Press internal reset button on bottom of device with narrow-tipped instrument
    2) Hard reset: Press and hold power button for 8 seconds. Release power button.

    In that case it seems a software issue with the device. I would suggest you the best option to get in touch with the Customer support on - (888) 848-0701 and get technical help regarding the device.

Go to www.navigonusa.com and click on Customer Support. From there, go to the Download Centre and then to Product User Guides.

You will find the Spanish Edition of the manual for your 7200T on the list.

How do I sync my phone to my navigon?

put phone in discoverable mode then on gps go to bluetooth and new conection. when gps finds phone click on it and pair the devices.

The volume isn't working on our Navigon 7210

Go to the volume screen. Tap the buttons for louder and softer. If the volume indicator does not move then goto solution A. If the indicator does move but you do not hear the voice say "louder" or "softer" goto solution B.

A. There is a problem in your settings file. You need to reset these files to factory status. This will reset all your settings to factory default. From the main screen hit Options then hit Options again. You should see a button that says "set to factory" or something like that. Click that and then reenter your custom settings as you like. Problem fixed.

B. You have a hardware problem. Call Navigon support for repair options.

NAVIGON 7200T IZ FULLY CHARGED BUT SHUTS OFF

These units have a circuit which detects if the charger is plugged in. It could be a problem with that circuit in which case you would have to get it repaired.
