Have you tried the manual search? Push and hold the TV button on the top row for 3 secs until flashes, then push the red power button (either one) and then, (with the TV on) aim the remote at it and push the up arrow and release. keep doing this until the TV turns off and as soon as it does, push the # to store. If this doesn't work then they are likely incompatible.
