I just bought Sony Bravia flat screen television set today. The images on the screen are 90% greenish in color. How do I set it right to the right human color ? Please help ASAP or I will return the TV set and buy another brand. This is frustration !!!!

Hello. When a backlit LCD screen becomes pink or red in color (I've seen other color variations too), it is the backlight lamp itself. A fault it the bulb causes the wave length of light that we see to change, and our eyes perceive the change as a change in color. Replace the backlamp or have a reputable tech service it for you. :)

Sounds like the tcon (timing control) board. Sometimes unplugging the LVDS cables from the tcon, cleaning and reconnecting solves this. The catches on the LVDS cables are easily damaged and must be handled carefully.

• Press the home button on the remote to go to the cross bar thing.
• Choose settings
• Look For set up
• Scroll down to factory setting and restore them.
• After that it will go to set up mode when it asks home or shop/display select "home".
  
  This will disable the Demo Mode.

Your LCD TV needs repair,abnormal display caused by a faulty LCD Control board. Replace the control Board.

The last Sony LCD set I had with a problem a bit like this had a bad LCD drive board. This is the board at the top of the set--that connects between the LCD panel and the main board.

Get a digital antena,If u using the signal over the air,rescan.If the signal is cable or other pay tv signal.Ur digital turner,it damage.

You likely have the screen refresh rates on the PC set too high. The Sony will only accpet screen refresh rates of 60 Hertz. Checkl the settings of the display in your control panel..

I have the same problem... today I got a digital satelite tech come out and hooked a HD digital reciever to the tv and now I have the greenish/yellowish/blue tint hhhmmmmmmm?

without going to hd, contrast to full, color, tint and brightness to middle, then adjust sharpness for optimum clarity
