First download your Kindle app. Then go into the app and you will be able to pull your library from the Kindle cloud and sync your tablet. Everything you purchased will eventually download to your tablet.
Go into your settings under general, there you should be able to reactivate the apps and icons that came with the tablet. If there are purchased apps go into App Store and retrieve them from the cloud
Tap the Device tab to view apps that have been downloaded to your device.
Press and hold the app you'd like to remove, and then tap Remove from Device.
Downloaded apps you remove from your Kindle Fire are stored in your Apps library and can be downloaded again from the Cloud tab.
To permanently remove an app from your Amazon.com account, visit Your Apps from a web browser. There are different types of videos.
titles that you purchase from iTunes that are viewed the videos app delete just like an app, tap..hold...delete. If there is a cloud icon in the corner it means the video is purchased, and can be downloaded or streamed to view.
home videos via home sharing must be disabled via iTunes on the computer you are syncing home videos from.
videos in the photos app, select edit, select video, and then delete.

Kindle Paperwhite:
If you can't remember the passcode for your Kindle you'll need to reset your device.
You can't reset your Kindle Paperwhite if Parental Controls are set. If you forget your password, reset your Kindle by entering "111222777" as the Parental Controls password.
Important: Resetting your Kindle will remove all content downloaded to it. Any content that is already saved to Your Kindle Library in the Cloud will remain in the Cloud. You can download that content again if you register your Kindle to your account again.
From Home, tap the Menu icon, and then tap Settings.
Tap the Menu icon again, and then tap Reset Device. Your device will power off and power back on.
To use your Kindle again, you'll need to connect wirelessly and register your Kindle.
