Hello Anonymous, you can connect your GE-1000 on the KA-1000, for that you will have to use two double RCA RCA chip cables, the first game is connected from LINE IN on the GE-1000 to REC OUT A
in the KA-1000 and the other LINE OUT game of the GE-1000 to PLAY IN A, of the KA-1000
In order to listen to equalized, you must play through the Phono, Radio or Auxiliary input and select Tape A

Unit may have any one of several problems: defective or shorted speaker(s), -- ICs work within certain circuit paremeters; B+&B- voltages from power supply also provide voltage to secondary drivers and biasing circuits. Any shorts and/or transistor leakage may cause failure under load. The entire circuit should have been tested before use

For all practical purposes an EQ or any analog audio processor connects exactly like a Tape Deck - into any RCA pairing that has both an OUT and an IN and can be selected to be in or out of the audio path.
However, on this and just about any modern digital-capable AV Receiver, activation of any external loop that would connect a processor or tape deck would automatically DISable any digital audio sources. The effects of the processor, therefore, can only be used with analog stereo sources. It WILL affect the sound going to all speakers if you use the various Digital Sound Porcessing modes as the extra channels are derived from the stereo channels anyway.
