Hello Anonymous, you can connect your GE-1000 on the KA-1000, for that you will have to use two double RCA RCA chip cables, the first game is connected from LINE IN on the GE-1000 to REC OUT A
in the KA-1000 and the other LINE OUT game of the GE-1000 to PLAY IN A, of the KA-1000
In order to listen to equalized, you must play through the Phono, Radio or Auxiliary input and select Tape A

SOURCE: I have a kenwood KA-94

Unit may have any one of several problems: defective or shorted speaker(s), -- ICs work within certain circuit paremeters; B+&B- voltages from power supply also provide voltage to secondary drivers and biasing circuits. Any shorts and/or transistor leakage may cause failure under load. The entire circuit should have been tested before use

SOURCE: wire Kenwood GE 7030 equilizer to onkyo tx sr504

The manuals explain it.

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Kenwood-GE-7030-manual/id/479dj189/t/2/

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Onkyo-TX-SR504-Receivers-manual/id/365ag215/t/2/

For all practical purposes an EQ or any analog audio processor connects exactly like a Tape Deck - into any RCA pairing that has both an OUT and an IN and can be selected to be in or out of the audio path.

However, on this and just about any modern digital-capable AV Receiver, activation of any external loop that would connect a processor or tape deck would automatically DISable any digital audio sources. The effects of the processor, therefore, can only be used with analog stereo sources. It WILL affect the sound going to all speakers if you use the various Digital Sound Porcessing modes as the extra channels are derived from the stereo channels anyway.

How to hook up kenwood equalizer GE-46, tunner KT-56, cassette deck KX56W and amplifier KA-76 with each other

Hello Pandit, the sequence of connections that I suggest, is the following, you connect the tuner KT-56 in the Tuner input of the KT-76 amplifier, the Cassettera deck in the Tape 1 connections of the KT-76, and the GE- equalizer 46 on the Tape 2 connections
I sent you the link to download the KT-76 user manual
on the third page there is a description of the connections, in your case instead of cassette 2 you will connect the GE-46 equalizer
I hope you manage to interconnect all the equipment and enjoy good music
Greetings Franco Dosil

I need a wiring diagram for my kenwood KGC-4041 equilizer .I want to connect it to my KDC-MP242 CD player. Is that possible?

Most of the time you plug your RCA wires which are red and a white solid colors only, into the equilizer. Plug in every thing that you want to equalize many which speakers do you want to sound better. also check kenwood usa .com look for support your model # and downloads manuals. It's Free. Hope this Helps.

Equilizer

I need more information to help you. The equalizer has to go in between two devices to have an effect.

Like this:
  • Multiple units' (CD Player, Tuner, Cassette, etc.) OUTPUTS to Pre-amplifier INPUTs
  • Pre-Amp OUTPUT to Equalizer INPUT
  • Equalizer OUTPUT to Amplifier INPUT
If you don't have a separate Pre-Amp, you have to try something else. Re-post if this is the case...

May i suggest removing the equilizer unless you can adjust the settings for each amp seperatly. The amps themselves will allow you to add bass boost and treble boost. I think the problem your having is trying to run to much bass through your system causing it to distort badly.
