Bypassing of DEW sensor

I HAVE A VIEWCAM VL-Z7, I STARTED TO CHARGE MY BATERRY TO THIS JUNKY UNIVERSAL CHARGER AND FOR SOME REASON IT TURNED ON BUT 1 MINUTE LATER IT TURNED OFF AND NEVER TURNED ON AGAIN

its showing that because it stands for something taht u can read up on in the manual

I opened & then closed the Video Cassestte door & it seems to have taken care of the issue.

Dew has condensed in the camera. Eject the cassette but leave the cassette door open.remove the battery . Borrow a hair drier . set it to optimum temperature(not vey hot but but hot enough to cause discomfort when blown on fingers). direct the hot air through the cassette compartment door for about five minutes. reattach the battery and reinsert the tape.

either it has moisture in it (let it dry), or the dew sensor is bad and needs to be replaced.

look inside the camera to the front.wou will see 2 solder bloba,run a line of solder between them to by pass the dew,it works
