You need to remove the motor from the washer, undo the 2 screws securing motor, unplug the motor lead, remove the earth wire, the brushes are located at the opposite end to the motor pulley.

well a "Speed Controller" can usually be used on ANY DC/AC motor, depending on type, some motors just will not work, with a speed controller... Think of it a bit like a "Light Dimmer", with the "Bulb" being the "Motor"

here is a wire diagram. follow the pictures. you can do fuses but i like inline breakers. you can get them at your local outboard dealer.

To get 36 volts, number batteries 1 thru 3. connect pos 2 to neg 1, connect pos 3 to neg 2, connect pos 1 to trolling motor controller and neg 3 to ground on trolling motor.
This is only a solution for 3 battery system.
For 4 battery system, connect 4 to 3 pos to pos and neg to neg.

According to page 31, there is a button on the base that will allow you to disable the answering machine for each individual telephone line.
