SOURCE: how to download somes from your music match jukebox to mp3

Music Match Jukebox is a now-defunct service- Yahoo discontinued it in August 2007. I would use Windows Media Player instead.

SOURCE: i'm trying to load musicmatch 10 to window 7 64

When I first installed Vista 64,I spent about 3 days getting MMJ 9 to work. And did.For a year and a half it worked fine, except super tagging.
Then two weeks ago, after not trying to burn a cd/dvd from it for about 6 months,I discovered that it didn,t see my dvd players any more.So...I decided to re-install it...bad mistake...REALLY bad mistake..
Now after working on it for two weeks, and re-installing Vista 4 times from a re-format,I came to the conclusion....it ain't going to work..
I tried everything that i could think of,all the suggestions I could find on the web, manually registering dll's,the whole nine yards. All to no avail.
I did however find a way to get version 10 to work.
If you have MMJ installed, remove it and clean the registry.
Install Yahoo;s version ymj_2_2_2_058 just a normal install.run it once and close it.
Then install mmatch10004033 set compat mode to xpsp2 and run as admin.when ask, select basic install ..not plus.
After installing, set all the .exe files in the musicmatch folder to xpsp2 run as admin.
you have to leave Yahoo;s player installed.
This method does not work on versions lower than 10..A shame.
I have yet to find any program even close to MMJ.Even without the super tagging, and having to use version 10,I haven't found anything even close to the organization that MMJ has.
Hope this helped.

SOURCE: I cant use Music Match

  1. Verify that your music is in the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus folder on your hard drive. Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, or select "My Computer" from the Start menu. Open the C:\\ drive. Double-click "MusicMatch Jukebox." Review the folder to check that all of your MP3 files are inside the folder. If not, search your computer for the files and drag them to the MusicMatch folder.
  2. Turn on folder sharing to ensure the software can access your music files. Open "My Network Places" in the "My Computer" folder. Click "Properties." In the resulting window, click "File and Print Sharing." Check the box next to, "I want to be able to give others access to my files." Click "OK" and close all open windows before restarting your PC.
  3. Check that you have permission to play the specific MP3 files if you are having playback issues. Occasionally, songs purchased through the Yahoo! Music online store using MusicMatch Jukebox Plus have faulty digital rights management (DRM) protection. Burn the file to a CD and then rip the song from the CD as an MP3, which removes the DRM protection and allows the software to play it without restrictions. This is your only recourse, as the MusicMatch store no longer exists. Previously, you could have contacted MusicMatch's customer service to have the song reissued.
  4. Reinstall the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus software. Click the "Start" menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen and select "Settings." Open your "Control Panel" and double-click the icon named "Add/Remove Programs." Locate "MUSICMATCH" in the list of available programs and click "Uninstall."
  5. Insert the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus installation disk into your computer's disk drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software again. This may resolve problems involving faulty computer files and corrupt Windows Registry data.
  6. Clean any CDs you are trying to rip or record to using the MusicMatch software. Disks with unclean surfaces involving dust or fingerprints are some of the most common reasons for faulty MP3 ripping or poor audio when recording CDs. Use a specialty disk cleaning cloth or a cloth intended for cleaning similarly sensitive accessories such as prescription eyeglasses. Wipe the disk from the middle toward the edge.please rate and comment on this product just by saying how helpful it is.raise the thumb up

I got problem with d3dx9_29dll was not found.anyone could help?

There are quite a few different ways that d3dx9_29.dll errors may show up on your PC. Some of the more common d3dx9_29.dll errors are listed here:
  • "D3DX9_29.DLL Not Found"

  • "File d3dx9_29.dll not found"

  • "Error while starting game executable - couldn't load DLL file d3dx9_29.dll."

  • "D3dx9_29.dll is missing"

  • "D3DX9_29.DLL is missing. Replace D3DX9_29.DLL and try again."

  • "D3dx9_29.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

  • "Missing component d3dx9_29.dll"

  • "This application failed to start because d3dx9_29.dll was not found!"
D3dx9_29.dll errors usually appear when a software program, most often a game, is started. Occasionally, d3dx9_29.dll errors will display after a game is loaded but right before the game begins. Unlike many other dll errors which can have complicated causes and fixes, d3dx9_29.dll issues are caused in one way or another by a single issue - some kind of problem with Microsoft DirectX. The d3dx9_29.dll file is one of many files contained in the DirectX software collection. Since DirectX is utilized by most Windows based games and advanced graphics programs, d3dx9_29.dll errors usually show up only when using these programs.

Resolution

Important Note: Do not, under any circumstances, download the d3dx9_29.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are a number of different reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea.

Note: If you've already downloaded d3dx9_29.dll from one of those DLL download sites, remove it from wherever you put it and continue with the following steps.

1. Restart your computer if you haven't yet done so.

The d3dx9_29.dll error might be a fluke or one-time issue and a simple restart could clear it up completely. It's unlikely this will fix the problem, but restarting is always a good first troubleshooting step.

2. Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX 9. Chances are, upgrading to the latest version of DirectX 9 will fix the d3dx9_29.dll not found error.

Note: Microsoft often releases updates to DirectX 9 without updating the version number or letter so be sure to install the latest release even if your version is technically the same.

Note: Are you a Windows Vista user with DirectX 10? Your game or program may still need DirectX 9 files to run properly so give the installation a try. Don't worry, both versions of DirectX can be run side by side in Windows Vista.

3. Assuming the latest DirectX version from Microsoft doesn't fix the d3dx9_29.dll error you're receiving, look for a DirectX installation program on your game or application CD or DVD. Usually, if a game or other program utilizes DirectX, the software developers will include a copy of DirectX on the installation disc.

Sometimes, though not often, the DirectX version included on the disc is a better fit for the program than the latest version available online.

4. Uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again. Something may have happened to the files in the program that work with d3dx9_29.dll and a reinstall could do the trick.

5. Restore the d3dx9_29.dll file from DirectX 9. If the above standard troubleshooting steps haven't worked to solve your d3dx9_29.dll error, try extracting the d3dx9_29.dll individually from the DirectX 9 package.

6. Update the drivers for your video card. While it's not the most common solution, in some situations updating the drivers for the video card in your computer could correct this DirectX issue.

I know your problem however it is easily fixed, the burner has worn out, the laser basically is not putting out enough light for it to work properly, the best and easiest fix, goto tigerdirect.com and replace the burner, they now start as low as 24.00 and go up to around 65.00 so it's not an expensive fix.
