All depends, Does your QT 5500 have bluetooth Adapter? Bluetooth Software? I looked at the specs, I don't see Bluetooth listed, but doesn't mean you don't have it. In Device Manager, is Bluetooth Listed?

HI JUST GO TO MAPLINS AND BUY A NEW JACK INSERT THEN OPEN THE CASE AND UES A SOLDERING GUN TO TAKE OUT THE OLD ONE THEN SOLDER THE NEW ONE IN IF NO SOLDER GUN THEN JUST DRILL A HOLE TO TAKE NEW JACK AND TWIST THE WIRES TOGETHER AND PUT SOME ELE TAPE ON
@MariJo is there any indication of power in the unit at all? What happens when connected to a USB power source - does the unit indicate it is receiving charge? If not, and it is still under warranty, I would return it to the point of purchase for repair. Have you found a solution since you posted?
Hi,these devices like bluetooth hand set or speakers must be paired in the master device,for example turn the speaker on make sure its blutooth is visible too all and find it with your phone device if your phone can see it try to go to option and make a new pair device,if your phone cant see it you may have problem with the speaker,try to read manual,if you still have problem,something goes wrong with device,and if it works successfully you can pair it in the laptops or PCs kind regards
What if the soundbar is Bluetooth? Will I still be able to use that function and connect the active soundbar to the tv (Bluetooth) and connect the av receiver for other surround sound speakers? (they are pre-wired in the walls in the apartment I moved into)
