I need the code to program to metronet.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Engine oil turns black just a few miles after changing

Is ok for an oil to change his colour after changing, but depends in how many miles.
There are a couple of causes for that.
Keep in mind that you can't drain totally the old oil from an engine and that way your new oil will receive some black colour from the old one.
Also, the oil is going to the cylinders where are extreme temperatures and residues.
Maybe you had a to used oil in the engine or a bad one and you have deposits inside and the new oil washed those and received some black colour from them.
Next time before adding some new oil use a motor flush to clean it, but be carrefully when chosing it.

My picture shows in an original unaltered format. I have tried changing the picture mode using the remote and changing from 480 up to 1080p on my directv box. How do I make the picture appear normal,...

Try turning the native resolution off (disabling it) and making sure that the 4:3 override is not enabled as well leaving it in 1080i (the direct tv receiver). The receiver could be at fault and may need to be exchanged.

I have bose speakers connected to a sony receiver and I want to chance the sony receiver to a bose receiver without changing the wires on the speakers. The sony receiver was old and has stopped working. ...

Hi.
Even though you may need to put new plugs on the ends of the wire, you can still use the wires without having to go out and by new.
Places like Radio Shack, Fry's, Ovation, BestBuy, and CompUSA all carry wire plugs that you can install yourself rather easily on the old wires to make them work with the Bose receiver.

Putting plugs on the ends of the wires is really a simple thing to do.
Just follow the instruction that comes on the pack, and you should be fine.

I don't blame you for wanting to utilize the old wire, it can get expensive to replace speaker wires.

The plugs are a cheap way of saving wire, and saves you quite a good deal of money as well.

I hope this helps you out, and good luck !

Remote for box 1 is changing channels for remote 2 and remote 2 does not work

Are you getting the same picture on both TVs - TV 1 and TV 2? Depending on the receiver model, you have a mode button either on the front of the receiver or behind a door on the right side of the receiver. You also should have a green (TV 1), amber (mode), and blue (TV 2) lights on the receiver. If TV 2 is one, the blue light should be lit. The amber light should be lit under the dual mode. Press and release the mode button on the receiver to put the receiver in dual mode. The blue light (TV 2) should illuminate now and this will give you independent operation between the two TVs. I hope this helps.

How to hook converter box to rabbit ear TV

Hi, Sorry Vicki, Play Taps for the Relic. Those old tvs don't have the type of tuner that will even accept an input from a converter. The good news is there are quite a few good tvs out there that don't cost a fortune and you will really like the new picture they are capable of. Good Luck to you!
