What belt did you change? i assume the drive belt. if it is not exactly the right size it wont work. if it is not routed correctly it wont work. it may have slipped off of a pulley.

Go to www.managemyhome.com and put in your model # for the manual (You can download to your computer). Also try www.searspartsdirect.com and put in you model # and you should be able to see all the parts for your mower.

SOURCE: Sovereign SLM 1500 lawn mower blades have stopped turning

The belts are available part number is SV150. Call ALM Manufacturing 01423 797208 for advice/stockists.

SOURCE: problem with John Deere L120 tractor

Park brake switch is the most likely culprit,any other would cause the tractor to not turn over in the crank position.

My pto is on all the time on my Toro zero turn. Blades are engaged when I start the engine even though the switch is in the off position? What would cause this?

Haven't had your particular problem, but my my blades would not turn when I pulled the PTO control knob. Turned out to be a bad PTO switch. Mechanic replaced the switch and it worked fine thereafter.

check to see if pto will engage if not check voltage at pto if non blown fuse if fuse not blown and power to pto bad pto jump the pto at pto with battery in mower does it start pto if does good pto have to check volts at switch check there start with that let me no what happened

Time cutter PTO clutch switch clicks when I engage the switch but will not engage the belts

Check under the deck and make sure the blades can spin freely, there will be resistance but mostly check to see if they are stuck. If they are not and can move, you can try to remove the belt from the pto, engage and see if it spins then. If it does not than there is probably an issue with pto clutch

Cub Cadet LT1042 PTO won't disengage

If its an electric PTO then the switch on the dash is bad, Its a lever type ungagement then the little break shoes that rub on the blade spindles are either worn out or mis adjusted.If it started when you changed the blade drive belt its possibly the wrong belt??
