SOURCE: Battery Low indicator and Camera shuts Down

What brand of memory card are you using? Sandisc, Toshiba and Panasonic are the only ones that really work with the cameras. If using one of those trying resetting the camera.

Menu
go to setup
go up to reset
press right arrow
highlight reset
press set

If that doesn't work....Send it into repairs and they will send you an estimate on what it would cost to fix it. Give them a call at 800-706-2534 option 2.

SOURCE: I bought a moultrie MFH-i45s game camera used. It

Go back to the seller immediately, explain the problem to them, tell them you want to return the goods and ask them for a full refund.
Most likely, the seller had the same problem and because they couldn't easily find a fix, they sold it to make it someone else's problem. You are entitled to expect a 2nd hand product to work properly.
Your country should have consumer protection laws to back you up. Don't put up with this nonsense. Good luck

Can you use rechargeable batteries to save on the cost of the batteries

You can in several type of equipment, but be aware that AA rechargeables are 1.2 volts instead of 1.5 volt of regular alkaline batteries.

Start up

It could be static build-up. Follow these steps to fix.
1. Unplug the ac adapter.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Hold in the power button down for a full 45 seconds(most people count in their heads and because they count too fast, they fail to reset it correctly).
4. while the battery is still removed, plug in the ac adapter and try booting up... if it boots up, you can either continue to use the laptop like that(saves battery life) OR you will have to shut down again before you plug the battery back in. But all-in-all, you should be good to go ;)
Good luck

Count down timer

Do a hard reset, turn camera off, take out battery's and sd card out. once you have everything out push your on/off button for about 5 sec. then put only battery's back it should say no card. Once it says that put sandisk sdhc nothing higher than a class 4 sd card, which is the speed of card not the size. If still not working call Moultire 8006533334 option 1 and 1 again for a live person to help you.

MOULTRIE A-5 DISPLAYS "FULL" WHEN EMPTY/NEW SD CARD INSERTED

I just fixed this problem on my new A-5. I had to take out the SD card, put it in my card reader and reformat the card on my computer. I just put it back in my A-5 trail camera and now it works and is counting down like it's supposed to.

Compressor UP6 25 125, runs all the time but is only under load for a short time, should it shut down between loads?

This unit will shut down if unloaded for a set period of time. Usually 5 to 10 minutes. This time could be longer if some one has changed it from the factory setting. There is a timer in the control box that starts counting down when the unit unloads. If it stays unloaded long enough for the timer to count down the unit will stop until the air pressure drops to the low set point on the pressure switch. It will then start up. If the unit loads before the counter counts down the timer starts from the beginning when it unloads again. This cycle continues until you manually shut it down or you stop using air long enough for the timer to reach Zero and shut down.

Anomalous charging behaviour :- a) plug in discharged battery b) starts off with the yellow light flashing as usual c) after a very short time the lamp goes off completely - instead of staying on...

Okay, might not be reading this right but here goes. If the camera shows the batteries as full then I'd go with that. The charger will come on for a few seconds even with a freshly charged battery because it take that long for the charger to realize the battery is already full. You can't feed an already full battery, so the charger is shutting off completely. Yes normally the light would stay on and the charger would continue to trickle a charge into it it until it is removed. In your case I think you have those batteries stuffed to the gills so the charger is shutting right down. One of the problems with these batteries is as much as the manufacturers deny it they form a memory. Best thing to do with these rechargeable batteries is drain them right down and then replace with a freshly recharged battery.

Moultrie camera mfh-dgw 2.1 reads BATTERY LOW but battery has full charge.

1st, unless you have a solar panel on this cam, stay away from rechargeable batteries. When new they will be @100+%, but have to be virtually drained to get to charge back, and then will only charge to about 80%.A solar charger will keep them @ above 80%.
Now, to solve your prob;I have found dirty/corroded contacts;evidence of dampness/corrosion @battery connections to main board; and fireants...they are attracted to electrical and will electricute themselves causing open connections...just a few solutions to ck out.
