Panasonic KT-NT553. Want to change profile name. There is no message key what code do I use to get messages?

The KX-TGA510M isn't an answering machine. Please consult the documentation for whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have connected to your phone line.

From the main screen of your phone open you menu, then messaging, then messaging settings, then multimedia message, then MMS profiles. from there create a new profile and fill in these settings:

Set Name: Straight Talk
Access Name: att.mvno
Auth Type: Normal
User ID: *leave blank*
Password: *leave blank*
Protocol: HTTP
Home URL: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Proxy Address: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com:80
Linger Time: 300
*leave advanced settings alone*

Save your profile and select it using the square on the right of the screen. You should now beable to recive multi-media text messages. Exit out to your phone main screen.
Press menu, then Media Net, then Browser Settings, then Browser Profiles, then select the profile named straight talk by pressing the square on the right side of the screen. You should then be all setup to use all forms of data and messaging on your new Straight Talk plan. I hope this was helpful!

In settings, click on phone profile, next to your profile type will be a circle and an arrow, click the arrow it will take you to the settings for that profile type. At the top next to your profile name (eg normal) there is a drop down box which will say incoming call, click on this and change it to phone sounds or new messages to change setting in these sections :) hope that helped

You need a notification profile.

1. Go to Profiles > Advanced.
2. Highlight the active profile (typically called Normal), press the Menu key, then choose Edit.
3. Scroll down to SMS Text and press the trackball.

You can then change the tone there. Now this tone or sound will be the same thing you hear when you get a voice message. The Voice Message sound is always the same as the SMS Text sound.

You may have selected a profile that does not alert you audibly when you receive messages. You may select a different profile, edit the current profile or create a completely new profile. I'm attaching instructions for creating a profile and editing would be similar except you would select a profile then select "edit" for the menu. Be use you have "tone" or "vibrate and tone" selected and that the volume is not on mute. Always save your changes.

Create notification profiles
1.In the profiles list, click the trackwheel.
2.Click New Profile.
3.Type a name for the profile.
4.Click an item.
5.Click Edit.
6.Set how you want to receive notification for that item.
7.Click the trackwheel.
8.Click Save.
9.Click the trackwheel.
10.Click Save.

In the device options, click Screen/Keyboard. Set the Key Tone field to On. Click the trackwheel. Click Save.

- Menu.
- Settings.
- Phone settings.
- Phone profiles.
- Select (highlight) the one you want &.
- Select OPTIONS with the left soft key.
- Click Edit (1).
- Use the directional key (right) to highlight the New Messages.
- Scroll down to Message Alert.
- Left soft key OPTIONS & select edit (as above).
- Then click the directional key until you hit either Downloaded Music or sounds (depending on where you stored your sound file).
- Select your file.
- Left soft key & select SAVE.
- Then that's it, done!
