Im not sure how i restricted web sites on my computer. And i don't know how to unblock them.

To unblock a site in IE8 follow these steps:

Open Internet Explorer.

Click on Tools and select Internet Options.

Click on the Security tab.

Select Restricted Sites

Click on Sites

Click on the web address that you want to unblock and select Remove.

Right click on Internet Explorer, or from your browser select tools, and then from the bottom of the drop down menu select (Internet Options). Then from the internet options select the security tab, and you should see the four internet zones, (Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, and Restricted Sites).

Select the (Restricted Sites), and then select the (Sites) box under the Internet zones box. The Restricted Internet Sites will be displayed with the web page that you are on in the (add this website to the zone) box, (do not add the web that you are on unless you want it to be restricted).

In the lower box it is marked (Websites:), scroll down through the restricted sites until you find the web site that you want to remove from the restricted site zone, select the web page from the list then select the remove button.

That web site should now no longer be restricted or blocked, but if it was on your restricted sites then it might be a rogue web site and you should not use that web site or your PC might become compromised.

I don´t know what is antivirus,what you use, they very often can block some site, I think that is not problem with ie8, if go on another site.
Many antispam programs may be a problem.
If you still have trouble uninstall ie8 and try with ie7, or with mozilafirefox.

Sites may be restricted using your browser if not some softwares, first of all find all those which are used to block them. If not the best option would be to access them using free proxy sites like hidemyass.com

In some office and scholls they block some web sites like aol , friendster but you can try to use some proxy web site that can unblock those block sites , if you like try using gtunnel.com, ctunnel.com,kproxy.com and alot more that you can find on the internet to unblock those restricted sites in your shool......
