This is probably a software issue, I would reload the program you are typing with (e.g.Word) and try again OR it could be your palm resting on the touchpad causing this to happen, I always disable mine when typing (normally to do this you use the 'F' or function key (coloured blue or red etc) along with appropriate key on the top row.
Hi there! The left hand index finger is on F and the right hand index finger is on J. There rest are follow the next keys. You can improve your typing by go to this website: http://www.rapidtyping.com/typing-tutor.html Play and Learn as the same time. Hope this will help. Thanks for reading
To program speed dial on a non smart phone hold down the 2 key and it will prompt you to type in the number you want assigned to that key. Then do it for the rest of them.
Ok, here's the short version. On the "F" key, there is a bump or a line which you can feel reaised above the key. There is also one on the "J" key. Your left index finger rests on the "F" key and your right index finger rests on the "J" key. the rest of your fingers rest on the keys leading out from those keys. Your fingers can use the keys the key they rest on and the keys above and below that position eg, left index finger operates keys "F, T&V" keys and so on. Try to train yourself to only use certain fingers for certain keys. After a whilw, it will become more natural and your speed will increase. Also, Google "Touch-typing" for more tips and probably exorcises to help you.
I would reset the bios by using the jumper in the cabinet. Then make sure you have the correct type of keyboard selected and if all of that does not solve the issue, replace the keyboard.
Tap on your shift keys, one at a time, while typing any character; it sounds like a stuck shift key.
If this does make a difference, you may have some debris blocking a key from returning to its rest position.
HOME KEYS: Left index finger goes on the "F" (you should feel a small bump on the key), left middle finger --> "D", left third finger --> "S", and left pinkie finger --> "A". Right index finger --> "J" (feel bump), right middle finger --> "K", right third finger --> "L", and right pinkie finger --> ";" (semi-colon/colon key). Both thumbs rest on the space bar While the fingers basically stay on those keys, you stretch up & down for the keys closest to the "home keys" (example: use pinkie for "enter" key on the right; use left index finger for "R" and "T). It takes a little while to get used to this but it's the proper way to type, and it is efficient so once you get used to it, you'll be typing like a pro!!
