Handset wont turn on - Lands Phones

did you follow the instructions as to registering them with the base set

Is the battery charged?

Check your batteries in the handset, make sure that all the doors, boot and bonnet are shut. Now try. .. still no go then maybe try this

There is a button hidden under the dash somewhere usually on the drivers side, put your key in and turn on the ignition then hold down the button under the dash till the alarm sounds. Turn off the alarm via the handset, or push and hold the button again. You may need to open and close the door. Lock and unlock then try again.

Firstly never try to use local battery because they are not good enough and damages handset .
check your battery in other mobile if its works in other mobile then your handset need to be FLASHING ie. updation is required.
Update your handset and never use local battery always use nokia brand.

Please try the following procedure to register the handset:

1. Place the unregistered handset in the telephone base. If PRESS FIND HS 4 SEC ON BASE does not appear on the handset screen after a few seconds, remove the handset and place it in the telephone base again.
   
2. On the telephone base, press and hold FIND HANDSET for about four seconds (until the red IN USE light on the telephone base turns on) and then release the button. The handset shows PLEASE WAIT... and it takes up to 60 seconds to complete the registration. The handset shows HANDSET X REGISTERED (X represents the handset number assigned) and you hear a beep when the registration completes.

When the registration is complete, the newly registered handset is assigned the next available handset registration number. For instance, if you already have HANDSET 1 and HANDSET 2, the next registered handset will be HANDSET 3

just connect your handset using datacable to your pc or laptop and then install desktop maanager and take a backup of your handset and reinstall your operating system.

Might possibly be a software issue. Why dont you try visiting the nearby service point, or if your handset is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer, They will definitely be of help.

VERY IMPORTANT: BOTH HANDSETS MUST BE REGISTERED TO THE
MAIN BASE BEFORE USE. After the 2nd handset has charged for 16
hours, place it on the main base station for 20 seconds, it will then
automatically register and verify its security code.

try to change the battery in ur handset dear otherwise try with a diffrent charger, or if still the problem presists than reinstall the software.

To register the handset:

1. make sure phone is charged
2. hold down the "mute/program button on the phone 10 seconds.
3. you should see a message on the screen that says you need to push the "pager button" on the handset.
4. Push the pager button
