Can not get set up screen up on the lg TV to scan for local channels from my outdoor antenna
Go to settings
All Settings.....click ok
Go to Channels..... Channel Tuning ...click Auto Tuning
Start
Let it go thru programings
Go into the tellys setup menu and select update channels then go to auto and it will find all the local stations.

The only way your going to change the video mode is with the original remote. If you need another remote go to http://remotes.com or call 1800 remotes Theres a button on the upper left hand side of the remote called video mode. A universal most of the time will not work this function. You could ask around to your friends and buddies or relitives if anyone has a working Sanyo remote or go to a local retailer that sells Sanyo and see if he would let you borrow one for a little while so you can switch out of the video mode. do u have the user manual for the TV? if you do the solution will be in there, if not (I suspect you don't) please give the make an model so I can try to look this up, but off the top of head there is no way to "assign channels" to a paticular remote setting.

HLP4663W is not able to receive digital channels. You need a digital tv converter box to receive those digital channels.

Hi there! This is Kimberly Escobar with Dish Network. Just ran across your post and wanted to help. In order to get the remote to possibly work the Inputs on your T.V the remote needs to be programmed to your Vizio T.V. In order to do this we have certain codes that can be integrated into the remote. Some of the codes for a Vizio T.V are 505, 671, and 627. The procedure is press and hold the clear T.V buttton located at the top of your remote until you see all the other buttons light up in red, once they are lid up enter one of your codes followed by the pound key for example: 505#. The T.V button should light up 3 times you can then try the remote to see if it works your T.V

Hello, with the set on, press the menu button, move the cursor down till the "Tuner" section is hi-lighted, click on it. Then the first selection is "Tuner Mode" click on it, the choose "Antenna" click on it. Then move to the "Auto Channel Scan" and click on it, and let it set all your channels. when done, just exit menu and change channels as desired. you can go to page 39 in your manual for these instructions: Tuner Mode
