Keep your box!

In this day in age a single component on a product can go bad and ruin your new toys (TV, printer, cell phone, etc.) One thing you have to be very aware of is that in most cases your warranty does not cover shipping expense as well as packaging materials. It is easier to convince a company to pay for your shipping than it is to provide packaging materials and these materials can be expensive. One good example is a TV, you have to package it correctly to have it shipped to a repair center and it has to get there in one peace. FedEx, UPS, and other carriers don't always handle your products with care and damages made during shipping can only be charge back to the carrier if you can prove it was packaged correctly. The best thing you can do is save your box. A lot of times you don't have the room or space to store it but you can always break down the box and store it in the attic or garage along with the foam to protect the product. Remember there is no better packaging to a product than the original packaging material intended for the product.

I have to say that this should be your first response to the problem.

As for fixing, you need to make the decision if what the repair cost would be and shipping over a new unit, due to how much use and it's age. Warranty.

Our customer service representatives are available Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 4:30pm CST
at 800-227-6433. If you are calling to order parts, please have the 11-character serial number from your product, specific part numbers, and credit card information available. This will help expedite your call and allow us to provide you with the best customer service possible. You can reference the parts list located in your manual to identify the specific part numbers.

Now if you just plan on getting a new one, you can remove the top cover, and if you have a Muli-Meter and know how to use it.

You can check to see if power is going to the switch, you can check the switch, you can check to see if the throttle is sending power to the lower unit.

If the problem lies in the lower unit it's likely it needs to be sent in.

Need to remove bad lamp from the HC100 projector

1. Reverse the projector gently.

2. Loosen the screw (a) using a Phillips screwdriver (+), and remove the lamp cover (b).

3. Loosen the screws (c) using a Phillips screwdriver (+).

4. Pull up the handle.

5. Pull out the lamp box by the handle while holding the projector.

Pull the lamp box out of the projector slowly. If it is pulled out quickly, the lamp may break scattering

glass fragments.

Do not spill liquid on the removed lamp box or do not place it near any flammable object or where children

can reach to prevent injury or fire.

6. Load a new lamp box securely into the projector in the right orientation.

7. Put the handle back to the original position.

Make sure that the handle is locked.

8. Tighten up the screws (c) using a Phillips screwdriver (+).

9. Tighten up the screw (a) using a Phillips screwdriver (+) to secure the lamp cover.

What does “unboxed” mean?

Unboxed items are genuine, authentic, fresh and 100% original. Sometimes the outer box gets damaged in transit so it is removed. Unboxed items always contain the same original fragrance as the boxed versions. They are the best way to save. Boxes can become damaged while shipped or handled, or the bottles can be scratched so we can purchase them for less and pass the savings on to you.

If the UPC codes or any other tracing codes are missing, altered or defaced from any product box or bottle, it was not done by the manufacturer and occurred in the supply chain after it left the manufacturer.

Glove box, LOCK BROKEN IN LOCK POSITION

If the glove box is anything like mine it is a modular piece assembled with screws.... let them break the handle.. get a replacement first from a junk dealer and have the broken part swapped out. Its like a seat belt catch in my 97 deville. The glove box in mine flopped open and the catch had broken and fell down the door of the glovebox itself. The whole door is assembled with philips screws and should be easily removed and a new latch put in.. whoever does it should not cost more than 50.00 in labor MAYBE unless you have a friend that would do it for a beer. I saw a complete glove box on ebay for 40.00 shipping ontop of that .. i saw the latch for 20.00 +shipping.
