The E90 code on the Intex spa is due to a dirty water flow sensor. ... The black wire is plugged into a white wire, carefully unplug it and unscrew the sensor. Clean it good and blow out the hole it goes in. This will fix the code and you will be back in business https://www.justanswer.com/pool-and-spa/ap9qh-i-m-having-error-code-90-intex-hot-tub-intex.html

SOURCE: Whirlpool washing machine "clean pump" error light.

take top off machine. look down right side and you will see a disc about 50 mm in diameter, attached to this is a small flexible rubber pipe, take this off at the disc and blow through it,( you will need some type of pipe to connect to the rubber pipe).this worked for me with the very same problem.

Hi Im Chris From BVL Elecric,
I cover Bournemouth and surrounding areas and supply solutions to most home electrical problems.
A lovely lady customer called me out today to diagnose faulty
LAY-Z-SPA
pump/heater that kept tripping the RCD.
After scouring the net and finding this same problem over and over again but no solution,I decided to get personal with the blighter!!!
RESULT:- problem solved,
Customer very happy,
no new parts fitted,
water heating fine now.
If you live in my coverage area, have a LAY-Z-SPA that is faulty,no or limited warranty then give me a ring and I will be only to happy to come on over and fix it for a small fee.
just think that dead spa/pool heater/pump could be heating your water again tomorrow and there is plenty of summer left to enjoy it.
You can find my details quite easily , just google BVL Electric Bournemouth

SOURCE: I keep getting code 90 (low water flow) on my

If your pool has the skimmer system there is a hose coming from the bottom of the skimmer to the wall of the pool which would be your suction to the pump. Disconnect the hose clamp from the suction port that goes through the wall of the pool remove the hose then unscrew the blue adapter on the inside of the pool there you will find a strainer / screen. Whatever gets pass the basket in the skimmer get's plugged up in that screen causing the pump to starve for water causing the LOW FLOW sensor to go off on the Saltwater pump.

Let me know if this helps any.

Air pump not working and red light stays on reset. Is the pump bad or electrical problem?

It is a toy spa after all, not really meant to last long.
According to Intex, your fault code is due to low or no water flow. Most common problem that we see is bad filter. You either need to clean, soak, or just replace them! Because they are so small, I wouldn't even bother with cleaning them, just have a few handy, and just install new ones.

I'm looking for a manual for the Intex Crystal Clear 56601E. We have great water flow going into the pump and pool but we keep getting code 90 - low flow. Would like to see if we have a problem with...

The first thing I would do is clean everything out as much as possible. Clean the filter and any screens to make sure they pass water well. I am told that the flow sensor comes apart and can be inspected, cleaned and if bent may be able to be straightened. I hope this helps.

You problem is not the salt unit, your problem is PUMP related. You are getting good enough water flow. Check the pump as well as the filter. remove the filter cartridge and try the system without it. If the problem goes away then wash your filter and retest. If the problem comes back replace the filter cartridge. If the problem remains without the cartridge in place, you have a blockage in the plumbing which is preventing proper water flow.

What does code 90 mean

code 90 means low water flow

start by cleaning your filter with high pressure from garden hose
check all tubes for blockage
also check where the inlet tube connects to your pump, sometimes hair builds up there and blocks other debris
also check your electro cell for build up
also check your flow sensor this can be removed easily

Where can I get a new motor for an Intex pump model 637 or 12R

first off water should not be getting to the armature area. be carefull with how you are taking care of your pump.
secondly a 1500 gallon pump is very weak I would advise at least 2500 or even the intex 4000
the most important part of pool maintenance is circulation.

if you have time check into electric motor rebuilding in your area
but sometimes that is more expensive than buying new

also if you have a valid receipt and the pump is less than 90 days old call intex and they will send out a new one within 24 hours
good luck
