So you haven’t given us much information about what type of machine you are taking about, or what the material you are feeding is. But if this is a printer or lithograph, it’s usually because either the medium is outside the machine specs (too thin, too thick, ink paper in a laser or vice versa) or the machine roller is covered in something sticky, such as the remains of a previous failed print job.

As to removing it, without any clue what the machine is, all I can say is unplug it, don’t use sharp implements, and if in doubt seek professional help.

SOURCE: paper feeder not working properly

did you load your papers the right way? Look on your paper tray. There should be a few snaps right on the sides of your paper tray. Make sure you use those snaps to keep your papers confined in your paper tray

SOURCE: Broken Paper Roll Holder

You must google to find the manufacture to find if anything is still available; but I have 2 ideas : 1. form a hard wire loop (from coat hanger or #12 guage steel wire) and attach this wire loopto the back of calculator case with screws (you'll need to make an eye loop at one end for the screw to go through). 2. make a small wood block that sits on the desk or table and make a wire loop that is held by the wood block and of course the paper roll is held by the wire loop. Goodluck, Macgivor.

Need Manual for Unisonic XL-1136

Peel the beginning edge of the paper roll off of the rest of the roll. It will be lightly glued to the roll to keep it from unwinding.
Cut the end piece of the paper if it tears when you pull it off of the roll. You want the edge to be the same level all the way across so that it will feed into the machine easily.
Flip the paper holder bar away from the Unisonic adding machine and slide the paper roll onto the bar. You want the paper on the roll in a certain position. Make sure that when the loose edge of the roll is on the bottom, that it is facing in the direction of the machine so that you will be able to pull it toward the machine to feed it in.
Pull the lever up that is located near the paper slot in the back of the adding machine.
Take hold of the edge of the paper and feed it into the paper slot.
Put your finger on the paper roll-up knob and spin the knob toward the back of the machine. This will turn the rollers inside the machine and push the paper up. Stop turning when you see the paper come through and above the cutter.

How to remove mold from tile/ grout shower

Use any bleach based product that is sold to clean baths and showers. However you will need to give it time for it to work and this is how you do it. Put on a pair of rubber gloves and a pair of safety specs to protect your hands and eyes from bleach splashes. Now take a sheet of kitchen paper towel and roll it up or tear it into strips. Sellotape it in position at each end along the run of mould. Use more than one sheet if necessary. Then carefully wet the rolled up towel with bleach and when soggy push it firmly onto the mould. Leave overnight to do its work and take it off in the morning and you should find that the mould has gone. The paper towell should be disposed of carefully as it may be a health hazard (mould and bleach) so put it in a rubbish bag as soon as possible.

How to change paper

This product uses 2 1/4in (57/58mm) wide standard thermal paper. Use the feed keys only when changing the paper. Do not pull the paper manually.

1. If prompted during use, or when setting up the printer for the first time, open the printer compartment by lifting up on the tabs located toward the back of the register. This will expose the printers.
2. Depending on each sides needs, use the release buttons to open the paper wells and release the print rollers.
3. Place the paper rolls into the paper well so it feeds from the bottom of the roll towards the front of the cash register (not the back). Pull the paper up and past the print heads towards the front of the cash register.
4. Once done, close the printer arms and use the feed keys to advance the paper.
5. To attach the journal roll to the back of the winding wheel, remove the wheel from the comparment. Put a small fold in the end of the journal roll and feed it under and around the tabs located on the wheel. Spin the wheel manually to take up paper slack.
6. Once the paper is attached, place the wheel into the holder in the back of the printer compartment. The part of the winding wheel with two discs should be on the right side.

My fd100 wont print but thinks it is. also some times it freezes

if you could check the paper that you are using. make sure thermal. also scratch the paper, if a black mark appears this is the side that goes down in the paper holder, if you don't see a black line you don't have thermal paper. also make sure it is credit card machine and not adding machine paper. if you have another roll try that one. if persist. make sure the paper is hitting the thermal reader. there is no ink

Trying to put in a new paper roll

Turn off the Sharp EL-1801V.

  • 2 Cut the end of the replacement paper roll for a fresh edge and to ensure a smooth feed. Do not tear the paper roll, as feeding a torn paper roll can cause a paper jam.
  • 3 Insert the cut edge into the paper opening on the back of the Sharp EL-1801V. Hold the paper roll so that the edge being fed into the machine is coming from the bottom of the roll. Turn the power on.
  • 4 Press the "Feed" button until the paper is fed through the unit. Lift the metal paper roll holder up. Slide the paper roll onto the paper-roll holder.

New Mr. Coffee Espresso machine producing white gunk

    Hello aura20,

I bought one this week and had the same problem. I used vinegar and rinsed thoroughly and yet the whit flakes remained. I did some research and found that high end espresso makers often have very fine screens that catch minerals and grounds and so on. This Mister Coffee espresso maker has only a metal basket with tiny holes so it's not really filtering anything. Moreover the metal is treated aluminum, so it scales naturally. Also, if your water is hard like mine that just makes things worse. I just tore off a piece of paper towel only big enough to line the bottom of the filter basket and not come up around the edges. Then I put a drop of water on the paper towel and pressed the paper towel against the filter basket so I could see the little holes through the paper towel. Then I rinsed the machine again and the white flakes were completely gone from the water and the paper towel had collected it instead. I did the same thing with a new piece of paper towel and I added coffee, I did not add the maximum amount of coffee and I did not tamp the coffee. The product was smooth and creamy as it came out of the machine very slowly. But it tasted great and it was strong and clean. Upon removing the basket I found hard dry grounds stuck to the basket and paper towel. I had to use a spoon and running water to dig all of it out. It's not as good as professional espresso makers, but it'll do for a quick shot. I hope that helps.
