My set has got a tinted blue screen I have tried going into settings and tried to reset the back light settings but it is greyed out and it wont let me. The tv is all working apart from this blue tint on the screen. I have been told it could be the board in the back of my set,If i was to replace this will this sort out the blue screen and will it let me use the the back light settings on the tv. Many thanks. Noel.

The T-com board is the one that has one ribbon from the main TV board going to it. And two ribbons coming out going too the TV screen. Most TV's t-com boards are in the middle at the bottom of the TV. And some have a protective plate over them. Be careful not to damage the ribbons when removing them. Lift up the clip with your finger nail and slide out the ribbon.

There is no chance it the LCD inverter, because your TV is a LED. LED and LCD are two different types of TV's The back lighting is different. LED are stripes with small lights. LCD are floresent tubes. Go to Shopjimmy.com for the T-com board they have good prices.

When you order the new T-com board, make sure you order the part number on the paper sticker on the old T-com board. not the other numbers on the board.

I made that mistake a couple of times. Even though the boards looked identical, they are different. For example, I have three Samsung power boards, that look identical for a 42" 46" and 52" That's why that paper sticker number is important.
Take care and keep in touch.

SOURCE: Blue Tint

Most likely cause would be a loose solder connection that expands as the set warms up until it no longer makes a connection. You may get the blue to come and go by hitting the side of the cabinet after the set is warmed up awhile. (don't hurt your hand doing this, and don't keep doing it to "fix" the set. The connection will have to be located and repaired). Otherwise, there could be a component going bad, including the blue picture tube.

LG 43UH6030: 43-inch 4K UHD Smart LED TV. The TV has blue tint on screen and Wi-Fi connection keeps disconnecting.

Here is the Board Kit for the set. The switching on and off is likely to be the power supply.

WiFi issue if likely due to interference, where the television is located and a weak signal. Connecting via Ethernet is always preferable.

You can swap boards out and see if it improves the blue tint.

Entire screen has a pink tint. Can change to blue with settings. Cannot change to natural with tint etc.

Check that all cables are intact and plugged in correctly.
Turn of the TV completely. There might be a manual button on the tv for this. As the last thing, remove the power cord from the power outlet in the wall or where it is placed. Wait 1 min. Then put it back in, swith it on and turn on the TV again.
If this doesn't help and you have tried replacing the cable that you get the picture from (VGA, DVI, Antenna etc.) then it is most likely broken.

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.
These settings will also work for Cable or Dish hookups, in which case you may change the Noise Reduction option to Medium to reduce signal noise.
