If you can acess it by comp go the drive and open it.click tools and folder options and uncheck hide operating system tools and hidden files.click okay and look for a folder called system or a light colored folder.open it and find a file that looks like a password as file name.delete and should unlock.did this before but can't remember all of steps or names.i do know that its titled lock or something similar.can try scanning the ipod for the file.can't promise it will ever lock again but i am sure it will.
