Frigidaire dryer AEQ7000EGO not heating up

don't know about cycle - not enough info - but usually when dryer does not heat the heating element needs replacing.

There will be screws along back at the top holding the top panel. Using the appropriate screw head screw driver you will have to get these screws out, lift the top panel slightly and push out towards the front. This should disengage the panel from the notch on the main body and come out. That will get you access to the console.

I understand you had a power surge at your home, and now your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model#, AEQ7000EGO, has no power. I do see that you have checked to make sure that it is plugged in. I suggest checking the circuit breaker or fuse that the dryer is on. Make sure that the fuse is not blown or the breaker tripped. Last but not least the heating element.

You may have a clogged vent.your machine gets to hot and safety switch kicks in or you lost the blower fan
when drying does it sound like air is blowing.... let it cool down and see if it starts again

Hi, If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly. if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip.... Does it get hot when you start the dryer, and never gets hot again when its running? The solenoid wire might be opening due to heat, the solenoid is responsible for opening the gas valve, and booster valve. The wire is located in a round plastic sleeve with two electrical contacts sticking out.

I would say your right on track, check your heating coil when you locate it also...just in case.

clean air duct

I have a frigidaire frontal dyer that is 3 yrs old. The dryer works properly, it tumbles, but it is only cold air ???? What's the problem ?
