You have to change my email address to [email protected] from msn. I get a message saying I need to finish activation or something like that. Mary W Neilson

Comcast email support to update email:

• Sign in to My Account.
• Click the Users tab at the top of the page.
• Select the user you want to add an email address for.

Its fairly easy to make a new account on msn messenger, I assume your talking about msn messenger, and add your contacts to the new account.

Email is a digital way to send/receive messages. An email address is like your home address, a way for people to send messages to each other. Email requires a unique username that no one else has ( to make sure everyone gets the right mail!) and you'll have to come up with a password to protect it so other people cannot access it without permission. Email is MUCH faster than typical post office mail or letter. Where regular mail can take several days to get delivered, email is typically received with several minutes, anywhere in the world!

Gmail is a type of email provider. You can get email through your paid internet service provider (ISP), such as bellsouth, comcast, AT&T or from a free provider such as google, msn, yahoo, and many others. The layout when you check is email is a little different for each service, but they all work the same way.

an email is made of 4 parts
1) the "unique username"
2) the "@" symbol (the symbol is called "at")
3) the service provider "gmail, hotmail, msn, yahoo, etc..."
4) a domain extension ".com, .net, .edu, .gov, etc..."

So, a typical email address looks like

It just depends on your unique username and who is hosting your email.

Just set it up at comcast and have the new account there fetch the emails from the old account automatically. Just call comcast and ask them to help you set it up.

comcast.net is not an email address. Technically it is called a Domain name. With some more information it becomes a URL or the name of a website. Just try copy pasting it in your Internet Explorer or Fire Fox address bar. you will browse a website.
Remember that the email address always carry the @ symbol and the domain comes after this symbol and the name (or technically an email prefix) comes before that. In your case it is "dondorisann".
If the face book database does not detect a the @ and a dot after this @ symbol it will probably not save it.
Please confirm and double check your email address.

If your outlook is set up to download emails from comcast.net then go into your outlook program, click on tools, goto accounts. click on the mail tab. Delete your account there.

If your outlook program uses a different email address other then your comcast.net email address you should go into your youtube profile and change your contact email address to the comcast.net email address.

if you are referring about outlook..you have to change the email address and password by making a new net passport into outlook
