Hi. Under the settings menu there will be a heading, restore factory settings. Press this. Then dive a kilometer or 2 to let the RNS 510 find and correct its location. If this does not work then you could try a latest update disc as available at your local dealership, or you may need to replace the RNS510 unit. I have had to replace a few units to correct this issue.

may be you driver for windows xp properly application ?
update your driver for win7.
if do not work change your operation system ....

Hi! This is a really easy problem to fix. All you need to do is update the firmware of the remote!

1. Log in to the software.
2. Click 'Downloads' at the top of the screen
3. Click 'Firmware'
4. Update the remote

the version of the map is too old for your gps so that means that the map is too old or your gps is old

The TomTom go 510 won't turn on even reset the unit. in this case, it still can update the software? I need help.
