Sound driver not avalebel
Sound drivers are required to make the sound card in your computer work,
thus allowing your computer to output sound. You must have the correct
sound drivers software that corresponds with your computer, model of
sound card and operating system in order to get sound. Sometimes when
your computer has had an update, you may need to download your drivers
again. Sound drivers are available on the Internet to download and
install for free.
1. Find the model of your sound card and identify what operating system you
are using, as well as the model or serial number of your computer.
To find your sound card model, go to the Start menu, open the Control
Panel, locate and open the Device Manager. Near the bottom is an option
called "Sound, video and game controllers." Double click to open the
sub-menu. There you will find the type of sound card you have.
To find your operating system, right click on My Computer on your
desktop. Click "Properties." The name of the operating system should be
listed at the top.
To find your computer model, it will vary from PC to PC. For laptops,
check underneath for a label. For desktops, check on the top or left
side of the tower.
2. Open an Internet browser and navigate to the website of either the
manufacturer of your sound card or the brand of your computer. Most
computer brand websites, if not all, supply drivers you can download
from their support and downloads section. For example, if you have a
Gateway computer, go to www.gateway.com. Find "Support," then "Drivers
& Downloads." Fill out the required fields to search for the driver.
3. Look for the driver that corresponds with your sound card model,
computer model and operating system. Click the link to begin the
download. When it asks if you want to save the file, click to save to
the desktop. After the download is finished, double-click the file and
follow the on-screen instructions to install your sound driver.
I hope you find it very helpful.
