What watt dead key and swing on CONNEX 3300 HP

A standard 3300 hp I seen get up to 40 watts peak,
normally I would turn the audio pot up all the way never snip anything and deadkey down to 2 watts. Than adjust for forward swing, I also never run a pwr mic. Good luck

Connex 3300

The manual is only available for purchase. Sorry.

So, I can't tell you where the R240 is located. But here is a link to buy the manual. Or here for a "tune-up" manual.

Hope this helps.

I just purchased a connex 3400hp and my cb freinds tell me that my other radio sounds better than the cx 3400hp,my other radio is a cobra 29 ltd classic.my 29 has more audio and modulation and both radios...

The Cobra 29 has always been a good talking radio and is preferred by truck driver mainly for that reason! The Connex is a great radio in it's own right but sometimes needs a little help. I would suggest a power mic and there are many to choose from but Astatic is a clear winner! My two cents for a suggestion!

Would like to peck recive on connex 3300 Wild Bill

peak receive? Not sure what you mean. You don't peak receive.

If you want to align the receive, then you will need some specialized equipment. Oscilloscope etc.

Adjusting the vr pots

A word of advice, never buy a radio second hand. Used radios are sold for some odd reason, and it may be because it is broken. And yes you can do it with your meter, you just have to tune the radio using Coarse and Fine adjustments, also use peaking if you know how, to get a better transmit and receive.

Good luck!
