Parts Needed Below is the answer to fixing my tv, problem is, I can't find the parts any where. I am willing to pay to have them bought and mailed to me. In the pic the cap are the blue ones next  to the  yellow coils. Capacitor "C97" 1uf 630V DC blown (stinking!) polypropylene capacitor 1uF 630V DC. (Also look for slight swelling of sides on this type of capacitor indicates faulty capacitor). Circuit diagram shows this capacitor as a 2.2uF 630V DC ??? wrong capacitor fitted at factory?. Replaced capacitor with correct type 2.2uF 630V DC polypropylene ( note.. MUST use high specification type capacitor, example.. WIMA type MKP10 specially designed for switch mode psu type applications). Plasma TV is now working ok. Thanks Lwin62

I have same symtoms with same plasma i had a tv repair man look at it and said it would cost me 800.00 +labor.He said one of my boards need to be replaced.So a year later i am trying to get this tv running myself i just orderd the compacitors and take a long shot at relacing and see what happens I'm good at solder and following scem.if i had one for this pdp42bk.the compacitors im replacing are the1uf 630v and2uf 630v in power board.I also noticed the can capacitors are alittle warped on top .can anyone add to this problem or descriptions.my symtoms oo tv was it turned off by itsself and would not turn back on the green light turns on then clicks goes right to red no pic nothing.
