Low volume My phone has worked okay until now. I had an assitant here who must have changed some settings - now the volume is so low I cant hear. Ive turned the volume all the way up with the Menu on the handset but it doesnt help. ??

Since the volume of the radio seems to be fine it is doubtful that the amplifier is malfunctioning. I will check the stylus to see that it's fully seated and examine the wires in the tonearm that connect to the cartridge. If they seem okay then I suspect the cartridge may be bad

remove battery from phone and reinstall after 10 mins... this seems to fix alot of things also go to sound setting a make sure the volume is turned up all the way

Hi, when a phone has a ringer volume problem, is either the ringer of the phone is weak and you can't hear when someone calls you or the volume of the ringer is yet at a very low level in sound.

You will need to check the volume settings of the phone if the volume is low so you can increase it to a high level.

Its usual that due to fair wear and tear the speakers volume goes down. If the volume is too low it indicates that this is the time to change the speaker. Take the phone to a mobile mechanic he will desolder the onboard speaker and resolder a new one. He will charge around 7$ for doing this.

the business class phones from nokia have a low sounding ear speaker to aid at confidential business calls . if you think the sound is not at all audible use your warranty , first try in a room if you can hear , or try increasing the volume by pressing the volume keys on the side of your phone .

check if that the volume of the earpiece is set on the maximum level.if it is then try to clean the earpiece and if it's not working change it

Setting the Main Base Ringer Volume
The main base has three ringer volume settings: high, low, and off. You can change
the ringer volume while in standby mode or while an incoming call is ringing.
1) Press the ringer key.
You hear the ringer at the current volume level

main base ringer volume to off, “Ringer off” is

option appears.
3) The system displays the new ringer volume.

u can use the +/- buttons on the side..... however ive been using this set n it sure does have a low incoming voice volume :(

The sound in my N70 nokia phone is low. Cant hear the caller. Volume is so low and make me feel stupid shouting I cant hear u.

Amplify the song with Nero Wave editor, from menu, VOLUME -> Volume change and go up to +10 db but not more.
