Reformatted eMachine W3107, recovery disk contains no drivers

You need to install the drivers on your computer Goto your computer manufacturer website and select your Model num ber to download the Chipset drivers, Ethernet controller, LAN drivers etc...

you can download the drivers from the internet giving the motherboadrd name model no and the OSversion which you are using

It's on the eMachines website...you just have to download the NVIDIA nForce Chipset Package...Then extract it and it will be the first folder in the package (Ethernet). The whole package is 35.3MB so it may take a few minutes to download depending on your internet speed. Hope this helps!

if you are running windows xp or newer you already have the drivers.. in control panel go to system and then device manager to see if there any conflicts.. exclamation highlited in yellow next to any mini icons in the column. right click on all of them in sequence and either click enable or update drivers.. also from what i see here you have a biostar motherboard. you might have to use a different pc to go online to download the chipset drivers onto a flash drive to transfer to your pc. in the browser type in biostar motherboard drivers and search for your mobo. model and down load the drivers.it is fairly simple to get used to. or if you still have the mobo driver disc. that might have come with your pc then use it for installing the chipset drivers first then lan, and usb drivers....good luck..

Did you reinstall from the Toshiba-supplied "System Recovery" CD-ROM, or from some other "retail" Windows XP CD-ROM ?

The Toshiba CD-ROM contains the device-driver.
Toshiba's web-site also contains the device-driver,
for use in a situation like yours.

Within Device Manager, look at the "Unknown Devices" branch.
Expand that branch, then double-click on the '?' device,
and choose "reinstall driver", and allow Windows to connect,
via Ethernet cable connected to a router, or to a cable-modem, or to an ADSL-modem, to the Internet to find and download the correct driver.

It is a driver issue... especially if your Device Manager has a question mark, and you recently re-installed windows.

This could be hardware failure as well, but looks a lot more like a simple driver problem. Find the latest driver, install it, restart, you should be good.
