Need more information on this if possible.

It may be the speed volume is enabled on your radio, does it fade out when you start to come to a stop? Some vehicles have a speed volume setting in their radios in which the radio raises and lowers the volume during driving conditions, like when your comming to a stop, the volume will automatically lower and during faster driving speeds will rise to a higher volume.

Hope this helps

Radio and clock will not play

Probably a defective radio. The most economical choice would be an aftermarket radio installation

My 2002 chevy malibu's radio seems to be shorting out, the radio will work fine but randomly the sound shuts off the radio still shows the radio station and even says which artist is playing but there...

I'd suggest using the balance and fade controls to cut out each speaker one by one. to possibly determine if you have shorted speaker or speaker wiring. As far as the turn signal clicking noise, the hazard switch is the actual flasher unit for the turn signals, and could be the culprit, but the most likely cause is the turn signal switch itself. It is usually caused by corrosion across the contacts, which can be cleaned out fairly easily, but more typically, the switch is just replaced

2000 bmw x5 nav screen blank. radio works but no

I know this is an old thread, but my 2006 325i Nav screen went bank also, but the radio still played. I noticed the glove box light and trunk light did not turn on also. I was told from mechanics is was probably a CID module for $2200, even though I mentioned the glove box and trunk light light were out and specifically inquired about a fuse. The mechanics never checked the fuses, because I checked my fuses in the glove box and found the fuse 61 marked with a BMW symbol that looks like light bulb was blown. The Nav screen started back up once the fuse was changed.

My 1993 BMW 325i radio turns on, but after a few minutes fades to no sound. Turn it off for a several seconds and comes back on but quickly fadws out again. The same for the CD player and all radio bands....

This problem is most likely caused by the stock Blaupunkt amplifier which is located in the trunk on the drivers side behind the carpet that covers the inner fender.

2002 Ram Radio problem

It sounds like a cold soldered joint internally in the radio. My advice is to buy a nice aftermarket radio with an MP3 CD player. MP3 gives you the option to burn music from your computer. In addition, MP3 CDs will hold over 100 songs per CD.
It MIGHT be a poor connection at the power connector on the rear of the radio. You could try pulling out the radio and cleaning the connection before purchasing a new radio.
