How do I change the tax amount for Sharp XE-A101 cash register

The paper won't roll up in my Sharp cash register XE-A106. The register itself works fine but the paper won't go through (justanswer.com)

Do an initial rest first

The two main programs to edit are the tax rate program and the department program. have a look at these tables in the manual and set your tax.

I think you mean an XE-A101. Try turning the key to REG mode, take one battery out, turn off at wall for 10 minutes, turn on at wall. Put battery back in. NOTE you will lose any sales in the machine. If this doesn't work, then it is usually a keyboard or printer problem.
