I think it is not synced with google.. try this.. Click Menu> Settings> Accounts and Sync> Add an account .. that should take care.

Check with your phone company. You need to pay for the caller ID service. If you ARE paying for the service and you are not seeing numbers, you should get a credit. The other possibility is if you are using a separate box for the caller ID and assuming you are talking about a home phone. You need to have the plug go from the wall to the caller ID box then a plug from the caller ID box to the phone.
Check your Sim in another phone to confirm , if there is no CLIP then the service provider has barred you and must get in touch. Also is possible that the phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.

Is CALLER-ID a "standard" feature from your telephone-company, or must you pay extra money to "subscribe" to this feature? Are you using VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) or traditional "land-lines" from your telephone-company? When you called your telephone-company's "help-desk", what advice did they give?
