I am getting this error on my mc9090 scanner: "
Error A000000B enabling scanner. Scanner support has been disabled"
Looks like laser head does not work and cannot be recognizied by scanner.
If, per chance, you have added the DataWedge application to allow scanning from another application then this could be causing the problem. You can setup a profile for the new application within DataWedge and tie it to the executable. This way it won't interfere with any application that uses the symbol API.

In most cases you find that the flex that connects the cpu and the scan engine is faulty or out of alignment. Try to cold boot the device or if it's out of warranty you can open it and realign the flex. Other than that you have to send it for repairs.
It's usually a scan engine problem but as you've already replaced it it could be ribbon cable or CPU board connector problem
