Code to enter on remote

To program your Bose CineMate home theater system with the Spectrum remote, you will need to use the appropriate remote control codes. Bose® CineMate® GS Series II Digital Home Theater Speaker System code that worked for my Charter Ocap-4 (C4000 & S4000) 4-Device HDTV DVR Cable Box Remote is 31933.

If you can't get this to work, I suggest you try to return the remote and buy and harmony remote. For me it worked very well with everything including old audio amps and you can configure your own activities.

Here are some steps that will help in addressing your DISH Network remote toyour Bose Home Theater System:

1. Press and hold the desired Mode button until all mode button back lightscome on, then release.

2. Use the number buttons to enter the device code corresponding to theequipment. AUX Mode: Before entering the device code:

• Press 0 for a TV
• Press 1 for a VCR/DVD
• Press 2 for any other

Codes for Bose Amplifier: 656, 761, 639.

3. Press the pound (#) button Note: The light will blink off after each digitis entered and then return to a steady light.

4. Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode lightflashes three times.

If the remote is more than ~ 2 years old, it probably won't have a code set for your Sony. Check the DTV site for latest code info.

from google tool bar type in bose cinemate manual and follow steps to universal remote control..and find code..there are 24 entries for Philips TVs

I have a Samsung blu-ray dvd player,non of the codes seem to work with my universal remote.

The Bose codes for Comcast remotes for both the Cisco (labeled Xfinity) and Scientific Atlanta (labeled Comcast) DVR remotes are 31229 and 31933. 31933 worked with my Bose CineMate Series II
