Strange?!? I never saw something like that...try to format and re-install or restore your Ps3 System....If doesn´t work try to Update your Ps3 firmware!!! Good Luck!!!

this could be many things, one thing i would do, is delete items i no longer use, and when Quiting a game I would try ejecting the disk to see what happens..
Press the Home Button to and select "Yes" to Quit it. If you still having problem Do a Restore Default Settings by going to Settings > System Settings > Restore Default Settings
This shouldn't happen. This is the first time I've heard about a problem like this. My instincts tell me that it is probably the home button. it may look like there's nothing wrong with the button on the outside but underneath the home button. Don't try to fix it yourself, try to find a professional repair shop &get it fixed there.
