Without what you ar working On it is hard to say.

The OKIE method would be turn off the answering machine when he's there and only turn it on when he is not or sleeping..

SOURCE: Incoming calls ring 3 times

Your voicemail thinks that it is ringing six times. The time that it takes to transfer to the extensions counts. Whiloe it seems that there is a lapse the system actually is using enough time to ring six times total. If you need longer ring time at the extension, take in account the transfer time and set it to pick up after 8 or 9 rings. It will actually only ring six. You just have to trick the system a little.

How to extend ring tone on I phone 4?

Contact your carrier's customer service. Ask them to set the maximum time before shunting the call to voicemail. They deal in time rether than number of rings. On my AT&T iPhone, the default was 20 seconds and they increased it to their maximum of 30 seconds.

My uniden xdect sse25 cordless doesn't ring for long enough before diverting to the answer machine I have mobility problems how can i extend the length of the ring

From the handset, press Select/Menu and then press the down arrow to get to Ans Setup. Press Select again. Go down to Ring Time. Then select the number of rings (6, 9, 12 or Toll Saver (TS)). Press Select then press Flash/Exit to exit the menu system. Toll Saver picks up after 2 rings if you have new messages or 4 rings if you don't. This lets you hang up before the answering system picks up if you are using the remote phone access feature.

Note: if you have Voice Mail from your telephone provider, you need to set that to a longer number of rings separately. Consult with your phone company on that option.

The manual for the XDECT SSE25 is available from Uniden here: http://www.uniden.com.au/RESOURCES_MAIN/pdfs/XDECT_SSE25_OM.pdf . See page 19 (23 of the PDF). You will need Adobe Reader to access the manual.

I hope this helps.

I would like to know how I can make my phone ring longer? Only rings 3 times; hardly time to get to it! Thanks.

This is usually a setting that your phone service provider sets. I am in Australia, and we would contact our service provider 'Telstra' and ask them to extend the ring time to 30 seconds (maximum).

How do I change the number of rings on my lg phone before it goes to voice mail

This is usually set by your network provider, so you have 2 choices.

1) Call the network Customer Service number and ask them to extend the time before it diverts.

2) Try the following network code to change it yourself:

**61*XXXXX**TT# (then send/dial)
XXXXX = The number you dial to access your voicemail (if it starts with a zero remove it)

TT = The time in seconds before diverting. The maximum value is usually 30, although some people report problems when using 30 seconds. I believe the maximum is specified by the individual network, so try different value 15 / 20 / 25 / 30.
