Not level or is tilted forward.

Door is warped.

You keep opening it.

My GE Monogram Frig door will not stay shut, it's lost its vacuum seal!

Check the fridge for out of level. Magnets on the weather-stripping hold the door closed. If there is something stuck on the seal, or too much weight in the door in an un-level fridge it will not make good contact. Try cleaning the rubber, and removing everything from the door after leveling. A good seal will stay closed even if the fridge is off.

My Baumatic larder fridge won't go cold the fan and the compressor is working but the temp won't go below 16 degrees

Check to see if there is ice built up around the door preventing it from closing and sealing properly. This can happen if the door isn't closed all the way at times.

Kenmore front load washer door won't latch lock light on

On some Kenmore front load models, if the black gasket around the door opening is unseated (for example, because you drag some heavy wet laundry over it) the door will not engage the lock and stay closed. This is a feature to prevent the washer from leaking when the gasket is not sealed. To fix it, simply reseat the gasket and the door will close and lock.

HAVE A KENMORE REFRIGERATOR - MODEL # 253.60734407 - HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE MAIN DOOR STAYING CLOSED. IF I PLACE 2 LITES OF SODA ON THE DOOR. THE DOOR WON'T STAY SHUT. HAVE THERE BEEN ANY OTHER...

The main thing that makes a fridge door shut is that it falls shut because it is set at a slight angle with the front of the machine higher than the back. You may find the solution is as simple as making the fridge tip back a tiny bit more by turning the front feet clockwise to screw them out of the chassis and make them longer, causing the fridge to tip back a little and the door to fall shut as it should.

Door not closing properly

Hi: The Kitchenaid refs. us a gravity close along with the magnets in the door seals. Magnets getting weak seals getting old and what you told me you checked can cause this. The easy fix is to raise the front of the fridge by lowering the front wheels. Pull the grill off the front and find the leveling screws (usually labeled.) Raise the front of the fridge until the doors swing shut with a gentle push. Before you replace the grill make sure the fridge dosn't rock side to side as you want it even. This is what they call leveling a fridge. Not cabinet level. Just sturdy. Hope I helped, Jeff

Frost inside freezer door

there is a small electric heater along the door gasket where you see the frost building up, this heater has apparently stopped working. this will also cause the door to pop open due to a poor seal. feel around where the door gasket contacts the refrigerator and it should feel a little warm. if not then a service company can replace those heaters. should not be too expensive.

Sub-zero 550 reefridgerator top freezer bottom - refridgerator door not staying closed

Just a guess, but I would check the gasket on the door. They can go bad or get distorted and bunch up and cause the door to bind and not close properly. Also check that the fridge is leveled properly. Will the door close if pushed? Will it stay closed?
