SOURCE: My GE Profile fridge periodically (eve other n) leaks water

Thaw out the defrost drain in the freezer. It has frozen over and the defrost water has nowhere else to go except on your floor.

I have a freezer on top GE profile arctic fridge. It heated up for 24 hour then went back down and is now hovering at 7 freezer and 42 fridge. What is wrong?

This is a common problem with the GE Artica and Profile. The mother board=> WR55X10942 Main Control Board Compressor start components and condenser or evaporator fans must also be considered in the diagnostics. If you would like to do this yourself let me know and I will be glad to help you go throgh with the testing, Thanks Sea Breeze

I have a PFSS5PJXCSS French door with bottom freezer GE Profile refrigerator. Was making an awful noise and both fridge and freezer were warm. I opened back panel of freezer to find ice everywhere,...

Had similar problem, freezer was working fine, but fridge was warm, (68 degrees) It wasnt my damper, the mother board was fried, and so was the inverter board that told the compressor what to do, after having the inverter and two mother boards replaced.......I threw it out, biggest piece of ****, only three years old, and Sears would not stand behind it, even though I used their repairmen. I will never buy another GE product, or enter a Sears store again

Profile fridge/freezer not cooling. Contol pannel

Fist thing you want to do is unplug pull away from wall and remove the cover that covers the motherboard. Then try to loosen by squeezing the plastic tabs that hold the mother board in place pull the board away just enough to expose the back side. Tell me if you see burn marks that are sometimes visible on boards when they become defective. What I want to find is if the high voltage side has failed powering the low voltage side or you just mayhave a defective control panel. Are lights out on the dispenser control panel? Is the model you listed correct PSW26? I can help if you like, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Is this GE Profile dishwasher recalled?

No recalls on any GE Profile model dishwashers. (there may have been service bulletins, but no recalls) Also, you missed the first two letters of the serial number.
You can go to this web site http://www.geappliances.com/products/recall/ to find info on any GE recall.

GE PROFILE FREEZER PFS 22 SISBSS

hopefully you have a service warranty. I have had me fridge for two years and have replaced the temp control panel twice thus far. serviceman coming AGAIN on Tuesday because now everything in the fridge is freezing. cna't get the temperature in freezer and refrigerator regulated properly. GE knows they have a problem...something in the computer panel board sticks. I'd give anything to be able to put this on the curb and buy a new refrigerator.

Unplug / Replug the fridge. If doesn't work might be the mother board in back.
