I need the gap setting for the coil on my homelite weedeater 25CC 'Easy Reach'

As small as you can without fouling the flywheel. It should work with anything up to a 20 thou gap, so if you set it to 10 thou and no spark, then you need to replace the coil..

Most Magneto's gaps are about the thickness of a matchbook cover. It works for me all the time. Smash the coil good against the magnet with matchbook cover in between, tighten everything down, then pull the cover out. Verify by turning the motor slowly that coil and magnet do not touch one another, if not you got it made.

Need to know the spark plug gap for Homelite 25cc Model UT-20779


The spark plug gap should be set at .025 to .030 inches for trimmers. Try to set gap closer to .025.
