I have a bosch maxx condenser dryer & the warning light & sounder indicating container full sounds very frequently even though there is no water in the container
Hi
You need to remove the left side panel, this is the side where the drain container is, once removed you will see the drain pump with two pipes coming from it, remove the pipes and top cover, disconnect the wiring, remove the pump unit with the clip, clean the float unit and pump, also remove the congealed mess in the water trouth as this is what holds the float up and makes the machine think the drain container is full.
I bet you will find this will cure the problems you are having, it did with mine.
With the WTE84102GB Bosch the problem is getting the side panel off. To get at the two screws at the top front you need to take all the screws out of the water container housing and move it backwards so you can get to the front 2 screws by lifting (bending) up the plastic front fascia. There's also a screw under the middle of the side panel that needs the drier to be tipped up. I left out that screw and the most awkward front screw for next time! The float can be clipped out of its sleeve and given a good clean to remove scale.
You were right about the congealed mess in the bottom! You'd think Bosch would make this water reservoir a lot easier to access when it obviously needs to be cleaned out periodically like this. It took me a while to take it all apart and reassemble it, but my tumble dryer is now working perfectly again.
Many thanks,
Suzie.

Took advice...isolated from electricity supply...removed
left side panel (side with condenser tank), to access the pump. Cleaned
it all out (masses of water and grey lint!) and put it all back
together again. Bit fiddly getting the panel back on...no screws left
over...result!
All working great now.
Simpler solution maybe...There is a 'trap door' that can be removed, which gives access to the area where the water and lint accumulate.
1) Isolate from electricity supply.
2) Take out the condenser unit at the bottom LHS front of the machine (routine maintenance).
3)
Underneath of where the condenser unit usually lives..at the
back...reach in and open the 'trap door'. This needs a small flat head
screwdriver and you must also release the two plastic clips holding the trap
door.
4) You can now access the area where the water and lint accumulate...which makes the 'float' give a false container full fault.
5) Clean out this water and gunk regularly (once a month)!
Hoping this will avoid taking the side panel off again...
