Sounds like a "pitted" contact. Clean the contactor of the contactor, relay or what ever is used to connect power to the outlets with a fine sandpaper, knife or some suitable tool to remove the black burnt contact oxide build-up.

I have a wolf wp3200 it starts i leave running for about 2 mins then switch on the power it splutters when you put load on it then stops very difficult to restart

its may be overloaded

I have a wolf 2300d petrol generator and it has just stopped generating enough power to run any power tools. it starts and runs fine but using any tools it just produces a hardly noticable amount of power.

Check the fuel filter if any.

Wolf 2300 , no spark, will not start

Magneto behind the fly wheel is the cause of lost spark
If it is a 5.5 or 6.5 Hp engine a Honda magneto off a GX160 will fit, and is far more reliable

The rotor may need to be partially remagnitized to get it started. Some have found success by connecting an electric drill (one without a throttling trigger) to the generator and spinning the drill by and while generator is running and breakers are closed.
