What exactly do you mean? Do you want to rotate the angle of the bar or move everything up? If you want the whole deal closer to you, your only real option is to buy a riser stem.

Describe how to detach the adjustable handle bar for a quinny buzz

Good Afternoon

There are two little black circles just below the point of the handlebar where it extends - one front and one back, on either side of the handlebar. Push these in with a small point and extend the handlebar it will slide out of the chassis completely. You will need a second person to assist.

I need to heighten handlebars

In the center right below the handlebars is and allen head screw. You will need an allen wrench, loosen the screw by turning it counter clockwise. Lift-up on the handlebars and adjust to the desired height and re-tighten the hex screw. Be carefull not to raise up beyond the lower adjoining yoke line on the goose neck.

How to install a throttle cable and idle cable

First remove the air filter cover, air filter, and air filter backing plate. Loosen the locknut on each cable adjuster and turn it nwards making it as short as possible and getting as much freeplay in the cables as possible. Remove the two bolts that hold the right handlebar switch housing together. Lift the top half and disconnect the cables from the throttle sleeve. Remove the throttle sleeve from the handlebar. The the brass ferrel off the ends of each cable and then work the cable out ot the lower half of the switch housing. Sometimes this isn't easy, just use some penetrating oil and keep working with it.

At the carb, lift up on the throttle cable housing and slide the cable through the slots on the throttle cable stop. Rotate the cable around and remove the end from the carb actuator knob. Do the same with the idle cable except that it's got a small spring in the throttle cable stop that you'll probably have to use a small pick to lift it out with.

Installation is the reverse of taking them off. Make sure our put grease on the handlebar and inside the throttle sleeve. When you put it all back together, do not slide it too far up on the handlebar. The inside of the sleeve will rub the end of the handlebar and return like it should. Adjust the cable but leave just a bit of freeplay in each one. Make sure the throttle works properly before you ride the bike.

Good Luck

How do i raise the handle bar?

behind the handle bars, where it joins to the bike is called a stem. Remove the center allen key bolt that runs down the center tube. Lift the handle bars up an inch and tighten the allen key bolt again. Your handlebars will now be a little higher for you.

Another way is to loosen the clamp bolts that hold the handlebars to the stem. With riser bars, you can twist them in the same spot and this will angle them up a little. You will have to loosen the brake/gear levers and angle them down until they suit you.

If neither of these works you can buy stems which have varying heights and lengths.

Hope this helps, please vote for me.

Raising the handlebars

You will need a 6mm allen key to loosen ( turn anti clock wise) the handlebar stem bolt which when you sit on the bike and look down its just under yer nose :)

Please make sure when you raise the handlebars that as it lifts up there is a marking on the side of the handle bar "stem" with markings like this """"" if you see these you need to lower it down so you cannot see these.

Needing diagram of how to tighten handlebars on motorcycle

You have to remove the headlight, then the Nacelle ( passing lamps if you have them ) Under the lock ( which is removed with a small flat head screwdriver ( it's held in by 3 little push in tabs ) There are 2 phillips head screws( remove them ) then once you have the headlight out, there is a 5/16 nut holding the top chrome spine in place. Remove the nut lift the spline. then remove the nacelle one side at a time. Once you remove the nacelle the 1/4 allen bolts are right there to tighten. Make sure you tighten them evenly. Reverse steps to re-install back to normal.

I need to raise the handlebar height on my 26" bike.

On the neck, the bolt would be at the top, dead center, screwed down inside the neck. Loosen it about 5 full revolutions. Then take a hammer and tap it back down. Lift the handlebar to desired height, and hold it there 'til tight. Also while it's a little loose turn it clockwise/counter clockwise, to make the bar straight (while holding the front wheel) before fully tightening. Then your done! Glad to help. Best wishes to you.

Unfolding the Chassis - Handlebar Loose

I had the same problem... the handlebar would 'un-pop' and shake around a lot making the whole stroller unsteady. I started to get all upset and worried about sending it back but i decided to clean it first. After using the silicon spray from the maintenance kit on the joints of the stroller IT WORKS LIKE NEW! yay! Try this before assuming its broken :)
