When i turn on the tower the power light comes on and there is another red light flashing it will send power to the moniter for about 3 secons and send the moniter back into stand by wot could the problem be

replace the power supply board. You should be able to get the replacement power board from www.tvcircuitboards.com send them a email [email protected] if you dont see it listed as they only list a few of the boards they carry
if its the red flashing light on the tower, its the hard drive activity light.
when the monitor goes on stand by, does the tower retain power? (green light on and flashing red light sometimes?) Does your keyboard's scroll lock/num lock/caps lock keys and keyboard lights work?

when ur starting the tower and it light are on and ur fan there is no problem with the power supply, i think that u rily need a new motherboard because ur board will not boot on start up..
same frustrating symptoms on brand new 42inch here! tv just turns itself off sometimes without warning or if changing to certain channels. leaves red light flashing for a while then red light goes away. any attempts with remote gives flashing green liht on tv. manual power off and on restarts tv but auto off again. found while manual power on keep changing channel on remote till stable picture appears. then use remote to shut down tv - solid red light indicates standby mode. then use remote to turn on again... till next time it happens. but what is technical fault??
