My laptop keyboard types two letters at a time. If I type w, it types we, type e, it types we, type s, it types sd, type d, it types sd, type x, it types xc, type c, it types xc. w,e,s,d,x are the only letters that I have a problem with. All the other letters type fine. In this paragrah, I have deleted the letters so that you can read the paragrah. In the next paragraph, I will not delete any extra letters to show what this paragrah looks like when I type it without deleting the extra letters that the keyboard types when you enter one of the letters stated above that is part of the problem. Hello,
I am convinced. If the situation were not serious I would say that you invented a new language.
It seems that the letters concerned are aligned in two columns. Possible that the wires are not well electrically isolated. I would suggest you try to clean the keyboard with a soft brush or compressed air. If that does work you should have the keyboard repaired. Was some electolytic liquid (salt water, orange juice) spilled on the keyboard by any chance?

Hope it helps.

Order a new keyboard. If you have Dell support they can talk you though the installation or send you instructions. Usually laptop keyboards are pretty easy to install, look for two screws on the bottom with a "K" next to them. Sometimes there are three slide latches at the top holding it in. The cables are released by sliding the pressure piece forward from the ends or flipping up the latch. Try Googling "disassemble (your model) Dell laptop"

It's possible that you have Spyware and/or Malware.

Download, install, and run Spybot: http://www.spybot.com and Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.com

Hope that helps.

My keyboard when typing sometimes places the letters being type in a part of the message already typed instead of just continueing to type correctly

I have this happen to me all the time when typing on a laptop keyboard; sometimes my thumb hits the mouse pad, and depending on where the cursor is at that time, I type in an area where I already typed.

My recommendation is to either be careful when typing on a laptop keyboard, or if you're able, install an eternal keyboard (USB). That should take care of the problem, if I understand your question.
