Try the Bluetooth for headphones.. Also if it is under the warranty you should contact them.. sounds like a bad port.

My samsung yp-p2 mp3 player locked up. how do i unlock it?
i had the same problem, it locked by itself, On the right side of the yp-p2 there are two bottons (see picture) one to put it on and the other on top("hold" word is on it)
I pushed the on botton until i saw the lock in the screen and then i swiped my finger up to the hold button and it started working again. _1836.jpg

get pandora recory, install and run a check treating the player like a harddisk -tis could work

Rafaela i can put movies im my p2 with clone mobile picture is great but audio on bluetooth only comes out one side what am i doing wrong
Make sure your bluttoth has a reset button i suggest also reseting the p2. Also just in case try to redo your bluetooth. If all fails check your headphones for short circuiting.

Transferring text files to YP-P2
It is possible to download text files onto the Samsung Yp-P2.
You can use the Samsung Media Studio to download the document onto the device. The only format I know works for sure is *.txt, haven't tried other formats
