Buy it a new cable. Get one marked as USB 2.0 I have a ebook reader that was not charging via USB, the cable not fitting snugly. I works fine with another cable, and, yes, it is a nice, snug fit. The socket on the unit might be damaged or there may be a fault on the circuit board, but a loose connector is more likely.
Hello, when a phone does not charge, it means that the phone charger or the port at which the charger is inserted in the phone is faulty.
Might be due to dust or dirt. You can Clean charging port on the phone with a brush and alcohol to remove dirt.
After cleaning it,if still not charging, you can test charger with another phone to be sure if the charger is working. And ifcharger works with another phone, that means the charging port on the phone is faulty and will need to replaced.
The player needs to be charged via the USB connnection on your PC. If it doesnt fit, try the USB ports on the back. If its not working/not charging, please test the MP3 player on another PC.
Find a cable compatible for it to connect with the PC's USB port, such as e250 datacable and Infrared USB cable..By that way your phone will charge automatically. U can also use a desktop charger for it,where what you only have to do is remove your battery from your phone, insert it in the desktop charger, and that's it......u can charge.

If you plug the charger into your phone and the battery icon does not change, then it means your physical connection is loose. If the battery connection does change but will not hold charge, then the battery is dead. I have managed 20 Q's in our office. Most of the time we just buy new batteries. Sometimes I fixed the connection by doing the following:
Use a needle nose plier and squueze the mini usb tip on the chargerslightly...very slightly. This will give it a "tighter" fit when you plug it into your phone. Make sure it's unplugged from the wall when you are doing this =).
if you plug it into your computer, and your comp says it recognizes it then it will charge. look on the bottom right of the mp3 screen a green bar will move and a lighting bolt will flash if its charging
