New mouse/batteries won't connect with receiver. Light on receiver flashed for about a minute after pressing the connect button on it, then the light stays on, but the mouse doesn't seem to work. Should the laser light on the mouse be visible? It isn't.

Hi, I've been using my Dynex wireless mouse for over a year. It now longer works. The batteries are new, the red light is on in the mouse, and I wonder if the receiver that I put in the USB drive isn't...

Something may have happened to break the connection between the mouse and the receiver. You can reset the connection by pressing the Connect button on the receiver. When the light on the receiver starts to flash, press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse. The connection should be re-established and the light should stop flashing.

How do I install my wireless dynex mouse

The mouse should have come with a CD which has the mouse software on it. Put the CD into your computer and follow the installation instructions. Once the software has been installed, plug the USB receiver (the thin black piece) into your computer. Put a battery in your mouse and turn it on. Then press the Connect button on your receiver, and when the light starts flashing, press the Connect button on the mouse. The light will stop flashing and your mouse should be ready to use.

Lite is on but mouse does not move cursor, what do I do, this is the first time I have used the mouse in a year and never used in with this laptop.

Make sure you have new batteries and that there are no power cables close to the mouse or receiver, I have seen this cause problems many times.

Try pressing the connect button on the receiver then keep pressing the connect button on the mouse until the receiver light stops flashing.

Sometimes the connect button is under the battery cover for the mouse.

Targus AMW15US wireless mouse

First are the batteries good?
Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

My wireless keyboard stopped working the mouse works but not the keyboard what can i do

Hi,

1)Verify that the batteries are correctly installed in the keyboard and mouse. If possible, use a fresh set of alkaline batteries. 2)Reset the keyboard and mouse connections : --With the receiver plugged in, press and hold the Connect button on the receiver until the activity LED flashes. --Press and hold the recessed connect button on the underside of the keyboard until the activity light on the receiver stops flashing. When you release the button, make sure it does not stick in the depressed position. --Press the Connect button on the receiver again until the activity light flashes. --Press and hold the recessed button on the underside of the mouse until the activity light on the receiver stops flashing. Make sure the connect button does not stick in the depressed position. --Make sure that the receiver is at least 20 centimeters (8 inches) away from other electrical devices (computer, monitor, keyboard, etc.). --Remove any other objects that are between the keyboard, mouse, and the receiver, especially speakers. Hope this should resolve the Issue. Thank you.

Flahsing Red Light

Now what you have to do is look for a reset button on your mouse and your wireless mouse signal receiver.
When the receiver and mouse both are on press the reset button on both of them one by one.
This should solve the problem.

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again
