Bu Mira was made in Italy between 1952-1956 it was the machine where the introduced the Wonder Wheel to make decorative stitches, olive green in color . There are some people who collect them but like all antiques the rearer the are and the better origonal condition the are in the more the are worth.

It is hard to say date & name of manufacture. This was an item that was imported from China for a brief period. The only part we/Jamac had primarily was distribution and the Barbie License. You can find your manual @ the Necchi distributer (it is a copy of your original) @ 1-800-525-9987. Mine cost $14.25- Shipping & Handling, included. Also, they let yu download or get a copy of your manual (or sent on a CD), if it is listed where the Necchi's are listed ( in order of first letter of your brand). I ordered mine from the distributer.

Can you give me any idea of the value of a Singer Manufacturing Company sewing machine, G2775438, with cabinet? Also, any idea of the year it was made?
The G2775438 was built in 1913, according to the Singer database: http://www.singerco.com/admin-support/machine-serial-numbers/single-letter . This serial number is for a Model 66 (built after March 19, 1913). The value depends on the condition and the specific cabinet and accessories that are with the machine. A worn model 66-1 with a basic cabinet is ~$50. The higher end cabinets can raise the price to $125. (Those were the prices ~10 years ago.) Someone wanted $175 for an advertised good condition model 66-1 with a really good cabinet on Etsy a few years ago.

Where is the model number on a vintage necchi sewing machine
Manufacturers put the numbers anywhere on the machine. Often, they can be found under the machine and may be a plate but often are numbers stamped into the metal. It may be on the metal base and could be hidden by the cabinet. However, if it is like some older Singers, there were no model numbers on the machines. The serial number actually signifies the model, ie N-6001-N-21000 is a Model 15.

Where to I connect the foot controller on this necchi bu mira sewing machine??? Cannot find where it connects anywhere.
Some of the pictures on the internet make it appear that some of the machines' foot pedals may have been hardwired. Since the machine appears to be a table top drop-in model, the connection may well be under the machine.

However, here is a free dlownload of an owner's manual. Page 14 seems to show the plug-in on the motor itself.

Yes, the Singer UK site has a history of the Singer sewing machines with a list of the year of manufacture. For a serial number that starts with 2 letters, see: http://www.singermachines.co.uk/faq/tell-sewing-machine-age-from-two-letter-serial-number/ . The AD83648 was built in 1935 n Elizabeth, NJ.

Just found a green Necchi BU Nova that is missing a face plate. Any ideas where I could find a replacement?
Try http://www.sewingstyle.com/Necchi-Sewing-Needle-Plates.html - the BU Nova is a 50's era machine so you may have to hunt down a second hand spare part or see if one of the other model plates will fit this model.

Also there are 3 or 4 Necchi Italian machine owner groups on Yahoo, I'd suggest that you join the one called Necchisewingmachineclub and then check out any posts on spare parts and see what you can glean there. Just read the group rules as often they like members to "share" information and don't like newbies to drop in and post a question then disappear. Or ask the same question on several groups (crossposting).

I know that many Super Nova owners love their machines and highly regard them.
